I have no idea with all the technical stuff but my sister has Bell, parents have telus and I have shaw. Like everyone said, Bell = crappy service but what you get is the best value. I suppose they probably save in hiring staff and can give out more stuff.
Shaw tech staff is pretty decent to me. If the ######ed tech person can't fix it they'll usually send out a guy pretty fast. Is it always me or do they always want me to restart my box or modem even though I told them I just did?
Telus' service is probably in the middle of Bell and Shaw... maybe leaning towards Shaw. I really like Shaw's call back option. However, their TV looks horrendous. It doesn't look good at all... I can see a huge difference from Shaw/Bell to Telus.
But internet... can't go wrong with Shaw. I measured my internet speeds here in Edmonton and I'm hitting from 7-22 Mb/S but with telus I was struggling to hit 3. Probably my parents have a cheap plan but we're paying similar prices and Shaw wins out by a huge margin.
