I love football in general. Each league has its pro's and cons.
NFL definately has the highest overall skill level as others have said. It is just a much more professional league in my books. They have the best players in the world.
NCAA is great because of the fans. I really enjoy the alma mater passion and the bands. I love the unique fight songs, the mascots, and the traditions carried out by the student body. It's a stark contrast to the 50 family and friends who show up at CIS games. It's a shame really.
If any of you have not gone to a live NFL or NCAA game, I highly recommend it. It's bedlam. The experience is one-of-a-kind.
There are lots of CFL pureists, but there are a few things which I dont like. Mainly:
- The single points
- Teams giving up safetys all the time for field position
- 6 of 8 teams make the playoffs. (Guess it's a small league so there is no other choice really...)
However I do like the CFL because it truly is unpredicatable. The rules allow teams to win with little time on the clock like in the Cgy/Edm game a few weeks ago. Plus, since it's local it is easier to connect with the team and players.
