An Omen?
Since I know none of you in real life and probably won't ever meet any of you in real life I have no problems sharing this story.
Last night at around 4:30 I was dreaming.. dreaming that I was in a friends house from elementary school. I had to pee really bad in this dream, so I started peeing over a bench into a flower pot. Now I knew this was wrong and I shouldn't be doing it, but I just couldn't stop in the dream, it was a really long pee and it felt so good.
After I was done peeing I noticed that it was now dark.. I started to feel around, all of a sudden I realized that I was not at my friends house but I was in fact in my room... standing over one of those fold up chairs for the lake/outdoors. I quickly turned the lights on as I was getting my bearings and noticed that one of my shirts hanging on this chair was soaked. I also noticed that there was a pool of liquid formed in the chair, and underneath the carpet was soaked.
Although at this point it wouldn't take Sherlock Holmes to solve the case of the mysterious liquid.. I leaned in closer to get a sniff, just for confirmation. Yup. Pee.
So I want you to just picture this for a second.. it is 4:30 in the morning, I am standing there in my boxers on a pee soaked carpet in front of a puddle of pea that has formed in the seat portion of this chair. A man grown who just peed in his sleep walk. I wasn't even drunk, I just really had to go I guess.
All I could do was start laughing, I literally started laughing out loud as hard as I have ever laughed before. The only reason I muffled the sounds was because I didn't want anyone to come into my room and see what I had done.
So I cleaned it up, went back to bed, and cleaned it up further this morning. But all I can do while I sit here at work is think back to last night, wonder if I should laugh or seek help... and think what it all means.
I hope you enjoyed this story.. maybe you could share a similar experience to make me feel a bit more normal.
Oh ya.. did I mention it was a Flames chair?
