You really should give up on this point. You don't know what you are talking about. Many CFL players come from big NCAA programs. They are elite athletes, just an eyelash away from being NFL players.

Copeland was QB at Tennessee.

In four years with the University of Tennessee, Copeland was a quarterback and then a wide receiver. He hauled in 103 receptions for 1,301 yards and 10 touchdowns and was 17-of-24 in passing for 199 yards. He won a national championship as a member of the Volunteers in 1998.

Juwan Simpson (CGY):

Simpson was a starter at linebacker for his final 24 games with the Alabama Crimson Tide. A defensive captain his senior season, he finished the year with a career-best 86 tackles, two forced fumbles and an interception. He was voted Alabama’s most improved linebacker in both 2003 and 2005. He was an academic All-Southeastern Conference selection in 2005 and was on the all-SEC freshman team in 2003.

Alain Kashama (CGY):

He played in 40 games at Michigan, registering 37 defensive tackles, 11 tackles for losses, six sacks, one forced fumble and two knockdowns. Kashama played both at defensive end and on special teams for the Wolverines and was one of just six true freshmen to see action for Michigan in 2000. He was also named to the Rivals100.com Freshman All-America first team.
