purely a judgment call. If you took the same $1000 and put it in a bank account only for car repairs do you think you would spend it?
Personally i am a warranty fan on cars for as long as you are going to keep it. Cumputers etc in todays cars are expensive to repair.
others will say.. bah you don't need it.
