Tough call Table. I would go with a 93-95 w124 (E-Class) especially a 94 or 95 E420. The Pre 1996 E-Class is the last of the great German Engineer built cars in my opinion.
there was an e320 coupe out back then that was a hell of a car as well.
I would assume the BMW side of things would be similar.
