The CFL starts too late in the year. Nobody wants to sit in -30 weather and watch minor league football come late November. My biggest complaint last night was the coach's challenge regarding the fumble/incomplete pass. The camera angles of the replay were terrible and very low quality. You couldn't tell what happened even in super slow motion, the replay was just a bunch of diagonal lines.
In the NFL, you'd get HDTV angles from about forty different angles. Much better quality and much more enjoying to watch. This is just one of the many reasons that the NFL is more popular than the CFL.
Joffrey Reynolds ran the show last night. He ran past the Edmonton defense with ease every time. I remember when he was in the NFL years back, he was the fourth stringer for the St. Louis Rams. He barely lasted through pre-season and was cut. The fact that he came up to Canada and can dominate so easily tells you all you need to know.
NFL - he was a bum, cut early and never got another tryout.
