I see. Well i would try to get something you could afford to finance versus leasing if this is your personal vehicle. If that meant financing the accent over leasing the civic it'd be wiser to go with the accent. Hopefully though you could find a Japanese car that you like that you could afford to finance...that would be the best of both worlds IMO (fit, versa, cube, matrix over vibe for sure, corolla, sentras can be cheap, etc).

I do like Hyundai and I think there Sonata is nice and the genesis coupe is awesome if not a little expensive, but the accents just aren't the best value IMO.
