You make it sound like Burris and Dickenson were alone in their decision to come back to the CFL. I'd say the fact they couldn't contend for a roster spot in the NFL had something to do with it, I don't recall anyone making a bid to keep them in the NFL.
And any player looking to play in the NFL would rather be on an NFL practice roster than a CFL roster, that's not really a disputed point.
