So with 25 games to go, most Divisions are pretty much spoken for unless there is an epic collapse, which as we know from the Mets two years ago could still happen.

Yankees, Tigers and Angels should win their Divisions pretty handily in the AL. Boston should take the Wild Card spot as Texas is the only real challenger left. Rangers still have an outside shot at the AL West, but I think the Angels can avoid the meltdown that would cause them to lose that lead.

For AL MVP I would pick Joe Mauer. Catcher hitting over 360 and the top on base and slugging percentage. Too bad he couldn't go out and throw for the Twins.

For AL Cy Young it's a tough call, but Zack Greinke seems to have the best numbers even though his wins total is low. Behind him tough call, as it could be Verlander. If Halladay hadn't had that 3 week blow up he'd probably be the guy.

In the NL the Dodgers, Cardinals and Phillies will win their Divisions and the real race is between the Giants and Rockies for the Wild Card. Normally one should favor a better pitching team, but I think the Rockies can hold off the Giants. Still should go to the wire.

NL MVP is likely Albert Pujols although for me it's really tough to overlook Hanley Ramirez. In the end though Pujols is top 5 in the triple crown categories and many other offensive categories on a team who has the best record in the leauge.

NL Cy Young is a pretty good race between Lincecum and Chris Carpenter. Right now one probably goes with Carpenter, but fart you can make a case for either guy. No doubt the front runners here are a lot clearer than in the AL.
