Right now the US is involved in a lengthy War in Iraq. The problem is that the forces resisting the US forces in Iraq are fighting what they see as invaders of their country, and as was the result in Vietnam, when this is the case it is very hard for the 'invaders' to succeed.

I dont know if I agree with the USAs role in Iraq. For one thing they are trying to inprove the lives of the citizens, with democracy and the removal of oppresion that many citizens of the country face. But there also is the idea of the war being because of only Oil as well. I am starting to see the war without the possibility of success, as the US's enemys truely believe they are fighting for the survival of their country. And for that I find it hard to blame them.

So here is the Senerio. Canada is invaded by the US, our army holds out for say 3 days, but is inevitably over run by US forces. They come to occupy Canada, with a military presence similar to that of US forces in Iraq.

Would you fight back against the occupying forces, much like they are doing in Iraq, or would you let the occupiers just do there thing.
I can tell you I wouldnt just sit back and let it happen. So to that end can we really blame the "Terrorists" in Iraq from fighting back against a group of people they see as Invaders?
