Playoffs baby...playoffs. It may not be oerfect but it is SO much better than the "system" that exists.
Without completely derailing the thread, my issue with a playoff is that every system I've seen proposed just passes the buck, the decision is shifted from who's 1 and 2 to who's 7 and 8, and the decision making process is still flawed. College football simply doesn't allow for a system that lets things be decided on the field, voters and selectors are always going to be a determining factor.
