Had to bump this thread to say thanks for the recommendation.
Bought a truck yesterday, went to the same agent I've used for my motorbikes for the past 7+ years, walked out with a $160/mo insurance payment.
Called Meloche Monex after the fact, all signed in minutes, $98.91/mo.
Had to call back my old agent to cancel immediately, he's getting all pissy with me. Wants me to come in to terminate the policy, says there might be additional fees to cancel. I already paid an extra $50 registration on top of the insurance.
I'm still trying to figure out why I had to pay that $50 fee, do all reputable insurance agents do this or only the schiesters?
