MRC is SOOOO much like HS compared to the U of C. About 10x more people smoke, are part of cliques, still act "cool" etc etc. Not to mention the fact that classes are WAY easier compared to the U.

No offence to anyone who goes to MRC but it is clearly a level below "real" university.

To be fair I have no knowledge of their University degrees so maybe they've stepped it up but in my experience and from the experiences of friends I've heard MRC is pretty lax compared to the U.
I agree. I attended MRC and it was just a big high school. Loudest library in the history of Libraries and there were so many "groups' you would only see in High School.

I think it's gonna take time for employers to actually respect a MRU degree. If i was hiring I'd want a UofC graduate instead of MRU graduate but that's just me.
