If I had to go back to school right now, I'd still take U of C 100x over. The quality of education is better and the reputation is higher. Then again, I'm a business student, so I'd much prefer that specfic program over any business program at MRU. I'm very proud I went to Haskayne, one of the top undergrad business schools in the country.

Again, to be fair, I should clarify why I think MRC was like that (I'll not speak about MRU because as I have CLEARLY said, I have no knowledge of the quality of the brand new MRU).

Also before I even get into it I will make it clear that I am about to generalize but in no way, shape or form am I saying that this is clear about ALL MRC students.

The U of C is basically the top 20% of all students, while MRC are the kids that couldn't get into the U of C (generally). As such there are a higher percentage of kids that don't study really hard and as such got lower marks in HS and hence why they are going to MRC.

To be extra clear, that is not a slight against MRC students, my sister went there briefly and now has a masters degree and is a very successful psychologist. However, in general it is more like HS because IMO more kids that go there aren't as serious about school as U of C students and as such it is more like HS and the classes are a little easier.
