Well, actually I've heard this too... from friends who went to MRC.. uh, MRU and then over to the U of C. I've heard many an occasion of these people saying that MRU was easier in terms of classes. As well, I've also heard the 'high school clique' thing just like Flip has. I'm not saying it's true (I never went to MRC), but I've definitely heard the same thing that Flip heard.
If I had to go back to school right now, I'd still take U of C 100x over. The quality of education is better and the reputation is higher. Then again, I'm a business student, so I'd much prefer that specfic program over any business program at MRU. I'm very proud I went to Haskayne, one of the top undergrad business schools in the country.
