Hey, I'm not nearly that much of a downer.
Although, having taken a course at MRC because it was full at the U of C (I attend the U of C obviously) and having known many people that attended MRC the ratings, in terms of toughness are as follows:
High School 4/10
MRC 5/10
University 8/10
MRC is SOOOO much like HS compared to the U of C. About 10x more people smoke, are part of cliques, still act "cool" etc etc. Not to mention the fact that classes are WAY easier compared to the U.
No offence to anyone who goes to MRC but it is clearly a level below "real" university.
To be fair I have no knowledge of their University degrees so maybe they've stepped it up but in my experience and from the experiences of friends I've heard MRC is pretty lax compared to the U.
