I have thought the same thought several times. Only 3,000 people died in 9/11. Now while that may seem like a large number, 15,000 children under the age of 5 die each and every day from malnutrition. Far more newspaper ink, TV time and military force was spent on the 3,000 than is spent on the 15,000. And that 15,000 happens each and every day.
