For one thing, the Grits can't bring down the government by themselves. But really, I don't see much of a reason for an election unless the Liberals' own numbers indicate that they will be much stronger in the east and will shave some votes away from the NDP elsewhere. Otherwise, it's stalemate city again.

As for those who are opposed to coalitions--with the electoral landscape the way it is, we'd better start hoping for some coalition governments. It may be the only way to avoid an election every 18 months.
