In a way yes, but I've learned to take it in stride already - it's par for the course when it comes to buying pre-owned cars. They'll always tell you what you want to hear and try to hose you when all is said and done.
If I go somewhere else it's the same spiel, different car. Besides I have to buy from a dealership because you can't finance when buying privately. Sucks but what can you do. It is frustrating though.
