EA's evil practices are in the past. Yeah they screwed over Origin but that was a long time ago. They're now a strong promoter of independent developers and creativity. Look at last year, taking risks with new IPs like Dead Space and Mirror's Edge. And this year, picking up Brutal Legend.
If you want to level hate at a video game publisher, hate on Activision. They're worse now than EA has ever been.

Honestly, that's a discussion for the tech board or another thread but maybe I've just heard silly things from people inside bioware (just in Edmonton afterall) about how things changed when EA got their hands in there...

LOL, EA's management plans to spent 66-75% of a game's budget not on the actual game but on marketing. Geez...A good game should sell itself.
