I love the Looney Tunes and yet I understand that Disney and the Looney tunes both had a vital and intricate role in the development of animation and cartoons as we see them today, without that competition we may never have seen cartoons the likes of what we have... it was a very healthy competitive situation. On a whole I prefer Warner Bro's Cartoons but I'm not sure why all the hate for Disney... they do some things that suck and they do other things that are fantastic... One of my all time favorite Cartoons (Gargoyles) was Disney and although they treated it very poorly near at the end, still not having released it all on DVD, the show it self was great.

I, for one, prefer to hope for the best here. Marvel has some fantastic characters just sitting on shelves, and Disney has a animation department that can support these characters coming to life as Saturday morning cartoons or even as a full length picture... This seems like a great match to me and could result in some really good stuff...
