Obama his people ran his campaign, and Obama and his people got the media to buy into the hype. Not Beck, not Hannity, not O'Rielly.
And Obama and his people are the ones failing at his Presidency.
Sure, one could say he would never live up to the hype or the expectations that came with the job, but last time I checked, Obama was the one who failed at even getting his OWN health care bill passed. And Obama was the one who has broken multiple campaign promises. There is a REASON people like Maher are jumping on him.
Not because of some right wing conspiracy, but because of Obama's OWN incompetence.
But hey, lets just ignore what the thread was all about, and help sidetrack it because you don't want to admit that the Democrats have been a complete failure in Congress.

Nice try? Okay.
I'm not saying I support this bill--I find it a little silly. Nor, as you know, do I support Obama's health-care reform bill, though for different reasons than you.
But calling Obama "incompetent" after 8 months on the job in which he's actually tackled tough issues instead of kicking the can down the road is just.... well... there isn't a word for it, but it's not good.
Relax, take a deep breath. The election's not for three years, and a lot can happen in between. Pretending that you know what sort of president Obama is or isn't now is just silly. Think back to 8 months into Bush II's term, or 8 months into Clinton's. Obama's actually doing better than either of them--but the point is that it's way too early to tell.
