Anyway the lady slams on the brakes just about runs onto the grass running out of space. Being mad about the lack of common courtesy in this city I then felt the need to be extra courteous to make up for that one guy. Nevertheless Calgarians beat me to it, not once but twice since then. A bus driver let me in in a traffic jam and a guy on a bike seeing I can't get across 16th ave (stop sign) pressed the crosswalk sign to stop traffic and waved me across. I consider myself pretty new to this city and just when my opinion about Calgarians is about to change it's nice to see that most Calgarians are quite different.
It's tough because experiences such as your first one will resonate far longer than the other two. Every city has it's a**holes and I don't believe there are too many exceptions.

I know it's fashionable to talk about how much of a hell hole this city has become, but personally I don't notice a whole lot of difference since I moved here when I was a kid.
