If you can afford the family pack, and have multiple machines, you should do it. It benefits you indirectly by boosting the number of deployed seats that Apple can claim, encouraging developers to develop for the Mac. It also encourages Apple not to resort to stupid activation and licensing tricks like MS has to.
It also makes you a responsible internet citizen and increases your appeal with the ladies.
