For all of those hacking on AC they really have improved in recent years. After suffering through the nightmare that is Air Transhat and their cattle car, AC was a welcome change.

You do get what you pay for when it comes to air travel. If you ever have the chance to upgrade on a long haul AC flight to Executive First jump at the opportunity. Lie flat beds, personal entertainment system, great food and service. I wouldn't want to have to pay the full fare though!!

But even economy on AC is head and shoulders above anything AirTransat can provide. Truely a brutal airline/charter with a less than stellar safetly track record.
