I had one kid block the turning lane for 3 lights because he wanted to cross but sat there because the the red hand was up. I have no issues at all with children riding on the sidewalks, they usually are very polite and let you know they are coming or at worst they ride far around you. For their safety it is better they are on the sidewalks, the others can burn in hell!
