Yeah, that is why I posted that link. He states that anytime he talks about supplements. Follow his site for a while. You'll see his true colors...

I realize its anecdotal evidence, but I have read too many other accounts of this (mostly on the crossfit.com message boards) to not believe its validity.

I personally like first hand experience when it comes to fitness and nutrition. Peoples lives are too unpredictable to control absolutely every variable and coming from someone that has been through it/experienced it, I value it accordingly.

In my opinion it seems science usually is way behind the curve when it comes to fitness and nutrition.

I hate running anything more than 1 mile though, so it suits me either way!

I will say that Crossfit training (basically running no more 400m bursts in a workout) got me a 5 km time of ~19:00 min. I know that is nothing for a marathoner, but for a guy that hates running...not too shabby.
