6 small meals a day, hi in fiber and protein. The human body can only process about 130g of protein a day, anything more and its a waste. So a proper diet and you get more than you need.
Shakes are a waste of money if you eat properly. If you are on the go and arent getting enough meals and protein, then absolutely hit the shake once a day. But if you are able to eat properly this will allow you to control all that your body ingests and processes. Also, you will find you have much more energy before and after workouts with a proper diet.
