You may have a case of Langar's Warts, which is a pretty rare condition where the virus actually attaches to the bone marrow in your hand and so can't be eliminated through conventional freezing or laser methods.
I had an uncle who had that on one of his toes. It got to the point he couldn't wear hard soled shoes and was going to work in sandals for a couple of months. He ended up having the toe amputated, which seemed to clear things up. Well, except for the missing toe I guess.
