I live in Royal Oak (other side of Crowchild from Tuscany) and I take the train from Crowfoot.
I'm not sure what the shuttle bus in Tuscany is like, but I'm in a bit of a bad spot at the beginning of the route so the shuttle sucks for me so I just drive to Crowfoot and pay the $3 to park.

If you have a second car that you can use to get to Crowfoot, the commute will be easy as cheese. It'll be about 7 minutes to get to Crowfoot and then about 30 minutes from there to downtown.
