If you have a restricted license and belong to a gun club, you are a legitimate target shooter and can buy handguns. Nothing of what Azure said is wrong.
You can get a restricted license the same day you get your non-restricted. If you meet those two criteria, you can buy as many hand guns as you want. I can buy a handgun over the internet. just go to
www.canadaammo.com and look at all the hand guns they have there.
