They just sell Telus products, so it's not GSM, and it's not another type of system. The landline is just VOIP or VOIP plus reselling Telus' DSL.
It's probably just like CIA and Shaw, they just resell the product and try and get away with spending less $ on service agents and such to make some money. CIA's service is worse than horrible.
