If you were born in Canada and have a Canadian birth certificate or if you were born in the US and have a Canadian Citizenship card you can go into the Passport office downtown at the Harry Hayes government building on Monday and apply for an Urgent passport. You will need an application (available at any post office), a person to be your guarantor who can sign for you and has known you 2 or more years (must hold a valid, 5 year Canadian Passport), your birth certificate or citizenship card as I mentioned above, a piece of government issued Id with your signature on it (like a drivers licence) and 2 photos one signed by your guarantor. You will also need paid proof of travel (your ticket) and the fee $157. If you meet all the requirements you can pickup your passport in 24 hours. Make sure you read the application instructions carefully and follow all the instructions to the T.
