From what I have researched there have been ZERO cases of creatine causing problems WHEN USED RESPONSIBLY. If you take mono (or any other form) at 2-5grams then you will be fine. YOU ALSO NEED TO STAY HYDRATED.

The cramping that one user reported is from lack of hydration, which causes cramping.

I think the one or two cases of people that had negative effects from creatine is when they were taking like 10-20grams per day. Anything in high doses is bad for you, its simple logic.

Example: The person who died from drinking to much water to win a Wii... Can't remember the exact cause, but is water dangerous? No.
