Quick question that I'm hoping someone would be able to shed some insight on;

I have a pair of Z-2300 speakers that I've been using with my 40" LCD Sony Z Series TV. AFAIK, the speakers are shielded and I have them on the edge of my TV stand, about 1-2 inches from my TV.

I'm wondering, are these perfectly safe to use with a TV? They sure sound good in my bedroom set up, as compared to the onboard TV Speakers.

Someone mentioned that older TV's used to have problems with PC speakers (CRT sets), so it made me a tad worried that a newer tech might have similar problems. I haven't noticed any picture issues, so I'm assuming they are safe; just want someone to put my fears at ease.
