I know what you mean. I hate playing EASHL with randoms. My record is like 60-130, most of the those losses coming when I play with randoms. Most wins are when I play with friends. There are so many people who try and do everything there selves and I hate it because everyone wants the goal. No one ever passes, we can be on a 2-1, if he passes to me, it is the net, but for some idiotic reason he tries to deke around the defenceman and loses it, or shoots it at the goalie.
Playing defence is even worse. Every 2-3 shots I let go from the point are goals, because my slap shot power and accuracy is so deadly, but I NEVER get any passes. It is hilarious when I will score 2 goals on 2 shots, and they still won't pass it to me.
There is no way for EA to fix this, because it isn't their fault, it is just the way the game is played, which sucks sadly.

That is .com, couldn't find anything on .ca, but .ca sucks. It should be the exact same for Canada and US stores.
