MobileMe has nothing to do with corporate email, its push email for iPhones not unlike the Blackberry BIS (not BES) functionality that non-corporate users use to access their email. Hmm... Maybe I'm not understanding you correctly, but I'm pretty sure MobileMe does provide Contacts and Calendar sync. I used to be an Exchange Admin, and I get exactly the same sync support between Mail/iPhone/MobileMe as I used to get between Outlook/iPhone/Exchange.

Edit: Oh, although I seem to remember something about Calendar and Contacts sync not working for Windows (Outlook/MobileMe)... That's probably what you meant.
