MobileMe has nothing to do with corporate email, its push email for iPhones not unlike the Blackberry BIS (not BES) functionality that non-corporate users use to access their email. If your corporate Exchange server runs POP or IMAP on the internet facing side, you could use MobileMe to get the push, but you won't get the inbox synchronization and calendar integration that the ActiveSync implementation provides (particularly if you only have POP3 available to you on the Exchange side).

Hmm... Maybe I'm not understanding you correctly, but I'm pretty sure MobileMe does provide Contacts and Calendar sync. I used to be an Exchange Admin, and I get exactly the same sync support between Mail/iPhone/MobileMe as I used to get between Outlook/iPhone/Exchange.
Edit: Oh, although I seem to remember something about Calendar and Contacts sync not working for Windows (Outlook/MobileMe)... That's probably what you meant.
