wow, thanks to everyone who has made a suggestion, you have me re-thinking going to Halifax. As a born and raised westerner, I really had no idea that there was so much to see and do on the 'other side' of Canada. I have been as far east as Quebec City, but never to the maritimes. It really blows me away how proud the people from the Maritimes are of where they came from...When people ask me about Calgary, I kinda have the 'meh' attitude now, for me this city does not have the magic that it used to have. Maybe I am getting jaded and need to move away for awhile to appreciate the city once again.
So, thanks for the comments, and keep 'em coming..I see that there is a lot of interest beside myself on activities on the rock!!!!
