I was with you until the time travellers with laser guns. Personally I theorize that it was intelligent dinosaurs with molotov cocktails. They're still pissed about the whole extinction thing, and a small part of their community blames humanity for the asteroid hitting earth. They believe that a small rogue section of the CIA travelled back in time using illuminati technology provided by jesus and funded by Rothchild used an inverse tachyon pulse to pull an asteroid to earth leading the way to the destruction of the dominant species at the time, then the CIA planted the DNA of Lindsy Lohan and Barrack Obama so that humanity would rise.
