Ducs are f'n sick. I am so tempted to pull the trigger on a used S4R monster I can pick up cheap right now. Just don't know if I want to borrow for a bike right now. My philosophy has always been never borrow for toys. If you can't pay cash for it, you can't afford it. Plus I don't ride my 1 bike enough let alone a second.

From the couple times though I have had a chance to straddle a Ducati you isntantly figure out why they are so stupid expensive. Fast... kinda, comfortable... sorta, but talk about mystique, the exhaust even smells expensive. And don't start me on trellis frames. Regardless of how archaic and inefficient they are, nothing looks better on a motorcycle....art on wheels. The only other thing that has kept me away in the past is that stupid desmodromic valve setup that should be renamed the "walletdraindromic" valve system for the constant adjustments they need. But couldn't agree more the Italians make the most beautiful bikes in the world.

I give you, Sex on wheels the Ducati S4R Monster.
