I hate this fee. Even after wearing contacts for 5 years, optometrists still want to charge a "fitting fee" before I can reorder contacts. Such f'ing BS. Anyone know if this is even medically necessary? I can see it as a requirement the first time you get contacts, but an on going thing every 6 months?
