I don't know why they couldn't add the Season Mode from Madden into this.  My guess is for NHL 11 which is their 20th anniversary (I believe). The Online season in Madden for those unaware is like CPHL, where everyone drafts and runs a team (I think they draft it).
I so want that in NHL 11.

Technically only offline season is confirmed. I haven't explored 09, but I know in 08 there was an online season but it was very bare bones. You'd sign up for a league and then it was kind of a free for all from there. There wasn't really a schedule, you'd just challenge other members of the league. I assume this mode is in 09 as well, but truthfully I never looked for it. Can anybody else confirm? Is it better than 08?
