Well now you are aware of it. I am sure the men and women of the military go for much longer periods without sleep than that and on a much more regular basis.
My work can be dangerous but that is the job. I am lucky that I don't have to work those kind of hours on a regular basis. Maybe once every couple months. Add the stress of flying long distance and it makes it a bit worse. When I went to Sarajevo we flew through several lightning storms which provided a lot of turbulance. Not cool seeing lightning all around you and having air France fresh in your mind.
But I love my job so I can't complain to much.
