At my wedding, the MC's set up balloons at the front. You had to pop the balloon and answer the question inside (it had to do with us, easy questions and they gave people the answers if they didn't know). It went well pretty good. People tried clinking glasses, but the MC's shut it down. They gave up after a while and went with questions.
Also, after every kiss, the bridal party all held up numbers judging our kiss.
Another idea I've heard is making people get up and demonstrate a kiss and the bride and groom have to copy it. The success of this route probably depends on how conservative/drunk the guests are.
