Go back and watch the Holmes catch. The Cards had perfect coverage, but Roethlisberger and Holmes combined for an absolutely unreal pass/catch combination. Tonight, the secondary blew their coverage and Getzlaf was wide open.

when you have mistakes or not perfect players, then big plays happen and its exciting. its like the era in the NHL when it was all defence, it was the highest level of hockey and defensive coaching, but it was BORING.
So by that logic you must like the WHL better than the NHL. I'll trade you every Hitmen ticket I buy this year for a Flames ticket. Deal?

sure the CFL isn't perfect, but its pretty good football, and most times the game is entertaining and close, often not said the nfl reg. season. 4 close games this week, one of them very defensive, one of them decided by a point.
good enough for me!
I'd hope so, considering there are only 8 freakin teams in the league. The reason there are lot more blowouts in the NFL is because there are 32 teams, so there is a gap in talent. It's kind of like how there's a gap between the Red Wings and the Thrashers in the NHL.

If you look at a weekly NFL scoreboard, you'll ususally find at least 5-7 games decided by a touchdown or less. Here's week 6 of last year for example:
