Another book by Kinsella is "The Iowa Baseball Confederacy". I haven't read it since I was a kid, but I remember absolutely loving it.

Ken Dryden's "The Game" is pretty good as well. Not a fan of Dryden's but it is good nonetheless.

"Moneyball" as others have mentioned.
