No, I just wonder why they spend their money on this, not really whining, just curiosity. Robotics is a field I sort of passively follow (cousin I talk with a lot is studying robotics, bro in law did a degree in AI), and as far as I know, manufacturing is the main application of robotics.
I'd imagine there would be an end goal to this R&D. Robotics for their manufacturing plants?
