Yes Christian fundamentalists exist in every country where Christianity has a foot hold. The difference is political violence and forced conversion are not part of Christian fundamental practice. More importantly violence and forced conversion are not mandated practices within the holy scriptures.

I suggest you try reading the "Fox's book of Martyrs" or "The Martyrs Mirror". There is also sites that keep track of modern day Christian martyrs. They are more common then one would think.
