Yeah the CP server gets scanned and probed with that stuff all day long; every computer on the Internet does to one degree or another. Most of them you can ignore if you have a good firewall setup.

EDIT: They will literally setup a program to scan millions of computers.. Scan 1.1.1.1.. 1.1.1.2... 1.1.1.3.. etc
